How the event works
You RSVP, we handle the rest. We’ll ship out a lockpicking kit and three practice padlocks two weeks before the event.
We’ll manage all the logistics – sending calendar invites, setting up Zoom links (if needed), and email reminders as the event draws near.
During the event, each participant will:
- Unravel the mysteries of how locks work.
- Master the art of lockpicking with professional techniques.
- Hone their skills on increasingly tricky padlocks.
- Tackle additional “challenges” for an extra thrill.
- Bond over a shared mission.
- Walk away with a new skill, and a tale to tell!

Meet Your Host
Our host Tom is a security expert who specializes in “physical pen testing.” That’s a fancy way of saying he breaks into buildings for a living.
Some facts about Tom:
- He’s broken into dozens of buildings to (legally) test their security.
- He once infiltrated an international airline and made off with the CEO’s personal data, using the power of donuts (ask him about this in the event, it’s a great story).
- The CEO of one of Canada’s biggest tech companies described him as a “dangerously sneaky #$&*.”
- He’s a certified technical trainer.

We can host 60 and 90 minute versions of this event. We book in a buffer of 30 minutes at the end of each event, in case your group wants to stick around and ask our host questions.
Each kit contains several lock picks, tension bars and other tools. Essentially everything you need to start the hobby of lockpicking.

Delivery is free to most North American and European addresses.
From time to time we may need to add an extra fee to send to an attendee that is very remote (for example we once sent a parcel to the arctic circle!).
