Great coffee, even if you only own a kettle

Every kit has nine single-serve pour-over drippers across three coffees, usually a light, medium and dark roast. Add hot water and a cup. No grinder, no scale, no machine.

Everyone tastes the same coffee at the same time.

Everyone brews the same coffee together and compares notes as they go. Tom shows the group how to taste, why roasts differ and how to brew a better cup at home. Coffee trivia fills the gaps, so nobody sits waiting.

You send a guest list. We handle the rest.

Send us the addresses, or use a branded page we set up to collect them. We ship and track a kit to every attendee two weeks before your event. We send the calendar invites, video call link and reminders, and on the day we run the event. We ship across the US and Canada, for groups of 8 to 2,000.

Questions

How long is the event?

30, 60 or 90 minutes, plus 30 minutes at the end for questions. We recommend at least 60 minutes.

Can you ship to our country?

We ship across the US and Canada. For anywhere else, send us the list of countries and we'll confirm before you book.

Is delivery really included?

For most North American addresses, yes. Very remote addresses may have a surcharge.

What if a kit is lost or delayed?

Every kit is tracked. If one goes missing or runs late, we send a replacement.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule?

You can cancel up to 14 days before your event. You can reschedule up to 2 hours before it starts.

Can we pay by invoice?

Yes. Payment needs to be settled before we ship the kits.

Can we make it feel like our company's event?

Yes. We can add custom trivia and inside jokes, include your own swag in the box, and set up a branded page to collect your team's addresses.

Can we use this for a sales kickoff or customer event?

Yes. We've hosted hundreds of sales kickoffs, plus marketing events, product launches and customer pitches. Companies have reported higher customer engagement after adding these events to their pipeline.

Meet your host

I'm Tom, the Vancouver Coffee Snob. I run Canada's largest coffee blog, and from 2019 to 2023 I hosted every major coffee event in Vancouver.

If you're the one planning your team's event, you know the hard part. You need something everyone will actually enjoy, including the people who only drink coffee for the caffeine.
